adobe Systems announced the release of Encore DVD 2.0, the
company's professional DVD authoring application that features
full integration with the rest of the company's Production Studio
suite of tools; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and
Photoshop CS. Encore DVD ($349, $299 competitive upgrade) sports
several new features as well as a completely new interface.
Within this first look, we'll take a look at some of the new
features to the application, starting with the interface.

New Interface
The Encore DVD interface now enables you to adjust the workspace
panels individually without overlap. So, if you adjust just the
Monitor panel, the other panels will expand or contract
accordingly, so you always have a full view of the entire Encore
DVD workspace while at the same time eliminating hidden windows
or palettes, as they are always visible.
